Photo 1, shows the size difference between the old API, and ACME connections verses the high torque double shoulder balanced connections. The torque rating on all three connections are the same. The High Torque double shoulder connection allows Impulse to create more robust downhole tools because we have more internal space for components. Photo 2 shows how the Impulse High torque, double shoulder, balanced connection gives joints stability at both ends a pairs with todays drill string.
